A Good Friday Reflection from FGBMFI-USA
Dear Members of the Fellowship,
For Christians around the world, Good Friday marks the solemn day when Jesus Christ was crucified. He willingly endured unimaginable suffering and a painful death to pay the price for the sins of all humanity—past, present, and future. Through His sacrifice, He opened the way for us to be reconciled with God.
Though the name “Good Friday” may seem contradictory, the "good" refers to the profound love and redemptive power of Christ’s act. It is not a day of celebration, but a day of deep reflection and remembrance. It reminds us of God’s immense love and Christ’s incredible sacrifice that made possible our forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life.
This sacred day invites us to pause, repent, and realign our hearts with the Lord. Let us remember the price paid for our redemption and prepare our spirits for the victory of Resurrection Sunday.
May the message of the cross strengthen our faith and renew our commitment to live for Christ.
In His grace,
Gabriel Jacquez
